In-person Q&A sessions for 2023 Renton Arts Commission grants in Sept. and Oct.

Arts grant applications are taken four times in the year for the Renton Municipal Arts Commission.

Funding is now available for Renton’s 2023 art programming and projects, and all are invited to an in-person Q&A Session with the Renton Municipal Arts Commission.

On Monday Sept. 26 from 6-7 p.m. and Friday Oct. 7 from 3-5 p.m. at the Renton History Museum, information on grant guidelines, cycle schedules and applications will be reviewed. The four deadlines for the 2023 funding are Oct. 13, Feb. 3, April 21 and July 21.

The RMAC grant program offers funding for art and culture projects and events that are meant to serve Renton’s public by individuals, organizations and community groups.

Arts and culture projects can fall under categories like project or event support, program support or public art support and arts disciplines can include writing, video, dance, theatre, music, visual art, multidisciplinary or other. Applications for the 2023 arts grants require a project summary, funding amount, a timeline, a budget and 100 words on connecting with the under-served populations in the Renton community.
