Weekend late-night drivers who use State Route 167 near the Interstate 405 interchange in Renton should prepare for a double right lane closure and a ramp closure overnight on Friday and Saturday.
Construction crews are taking advantage of the dry weather forecasted for this week to make progress on paving the northbound SR 167 roadway to widen the highway. This work is necessary for ongoing construction of a new flyover ramp for the I-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project.
Weekend lane closures:
- Friday, Dec. 8, to the morning of Saturday, Dec. 9 – The two right lanes of northbound SR 167 between South 180th Street and I-405 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 9, to the morning of Sunday, Dec. 10 – The two right lanes of northbound SR 167 between South 180th Street and I-405 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Weekend ramp closures:
- Friday, Dec. 8, to the morning of Saturday, Dec. 9 – The northbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
- Saturday, Dec. 9, to the morning of Sunday, Dec. 10 – The northbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
