The candidates are now set for the Aug. 17 primary and the general election on Nov. 2, featuring mostly legislative, congressional races and judicial races.
There are no Renton races this year, such as for mayor, City Council or school board.
All partisan races will appear on the primary ballot; non-partisan races appear on the primary ballot only when there are three or more candidates.
The last day to file for public office was Friday, although a candidate can still mount a write-in campaign.
Here are the final lineups for the partisan legislative districts that include Renton:
• 5th DISTRICT HOUSE: Position 1: Incumbent state Rep. Jay Rodne of Issaquah vs. Gregory Hoover of Issquah. Position 2: Incumbent State Rep. Glenn Anderson of Issaquah vs. Dean Willard of Issaquah and David Spring of North Bend.
• 5th DISTRICT SENATE: Not up for re-election
• 11th DISTRICT HOUSE: Position 1: Incumbent State Rep. Zack Hudgins of Tukwila vs. Sarah Sanoy-Wright of Renton. Position 2: Incumbent state Rep. Bob Hasegawa vs. Jackie Moore of Renton and John Potter of Burien.
• 11th DISTRICT SENATE: State Sen. Margarita Prentice is not up for re-election in the 11th District this year.
• 37th DISTRICT HOUSE: Position 1: No one filed to run against incumbent state Rep. Sharon Tomiko Santos of Seattle. Position 2: Incumbent state Rep. Eric Pettigrew vs. John Stratford of Seattle.
• 37th DISTRICT SENATE: Incumbent state Sen. Adam Kline vs. Tamra Smilanich of Seattle.
• 41th DISTRICT HOUSE: Position 1: Incumbent state Rep. Marcie Maxwell of Renton vs. Peter Dunbar of Mercer Island. Position 2: Incumbent state Rep. Judy Clibborn of Mercer Island vs. Stephen Strader of Bellevue and Orion S. Webster of Renton.
• 41st DISTRICT SENATE: Appointed state Sen. Randy Gordon of Bellevue vs. Steve Litzow of Mercer Island.
• 47th DISTRICT HOUSE: Position 1: Incumbent state Rep. Geoff Simpson of Covington vs. Mark Hargrove of Covington and Nancy Wyatt of Covington. Position 2: Incumbent state Rep. Pat Sullivan vs. Rodrigo M. Yanez of Renton.
47th DISTRICT SENATE: Incumbent state Sen. Claudia Kauffman of Kent vs. Joe Fain of Covington and Matthew Sas of Kent.
The two congressional districts that cover Renton – the 8th and the 9th – will have partisan races this year.
• 8th CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT: Incumbent U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert of Auburn vs. Tom Cramer of Redmond, Boleslaw Orlinki of Bellevue, Keith Arnold of Auburn, Suzan DelBene of Bellevue, Ernest Huber of Issaquah, Tim Dillon of Bellevue, Caleb Love Mardini of Lynnwood and Robin Adair of Shoreline.
• 9th CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT: Incumbent U.S. Rep. Adam Smith of Federal Way vs. Jim Postma of Steilacoom, Richard Muri of Fife and Roy Olson of Olympia.
