Lindbergh athletes help make Thanksgiving dinner for homeless

Eight Lindbergh High School athletes joined assistant principal Elaine Love at Nelsen Middle School to help make a Thanksgiving dinner possible for the homeless in Seattle.

Eight Lindbergh High School athletes joined assistant principal Elaine Love at Nelsen Middle School to help make a Thanksgiving dinner possible for the homeless in Seattle.

The Lindbergh students helped debone and cook a record 20 turkeys in less than two hours.

The turkeys are the main dish for a dinner for about 300 homeless individuals Saturday.

Love has made turkey baking a tradition at Nelsen for several years.
