Liberty finished eighth at the KingCo swim and dive championships Feb. 4 and 5.

The meet combined 2A, 3A and 4A KingCo teams. The Patriots scored 262 points, just one behind Skyline. Liberty finished third among 3A teams at the meet, after Mercer Island (who won with 840 points) and Bellevue (sixth with 277 points).

Junior Logan Briggs led the way for Liberty with a win in the 200-yard individual medley and second-place finish in the 100 freestyle.

Junior Luke Duschl finished fifth in the 200 free. Sophomore Raymond Ha took fifth in the 100 breast.

Liberty’s team of Duschl, Ha, Kevin Hays and Briggs finished seventh in the 200 medley relay. The Patriots team of Duschl, Hays, Connor Biehl and Briggs took seventh in the 200 free relay.
