Man found dead in car on Renton’s West Hill identified as Seattle man

An initial investigation into the death of a man found dead Saturday morning in a parked car on West Hill has determined he was a homicide victim, according to the Renton Police Department.

The victim of an apparent homicide on Renton’s West Hill has been identified as a 52-year-old Seattle man, according to the Renton Police Department.

However, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to determine the cause of Jimmy William Hill’s death and whether his death was a homicide, according to Renton Police Detective Robert Onishi.

Renton police responded to the scene in the 8300 block of South 130th Street at about 7 a.m. Saturday.

The King County Sheriff’s Office originally responded to the call of a vehicle blocking the roadway, but after securing the scene, deputies determined the location was inside the city of Renton. The case was turned over to the Renton Police Department for investigation.
