The City of Renton Domestic Violence Task Force will participate in a “Men’s March Against Domestic Violence” in the Renton River Days parade Saturday.
Men who would like to raise awareness and take a stand against domestic violence are encouraged to participate and should expect to march for approximately one hour, according to city officials.
Those men interested in participating should meet at 9:30 a.m. in the McLendon Hardware parking lost, 440 Rainier Ave. S.
The parade starts at 10 a.m., with the main route along South Third Street.
The monthly City of Renton Domestic Violence Task Force meetings are held the second Friday of each month at 9 a.m. in the City Council Conference Room at Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way.
