The key suspect in last week’s Skyway shooting turned himself in Sunday morning, according to a spokesman for the King County Sheriff’s Office.
He’s accused of shooting a 19-year-old woman in the head with a handgun Thursday in Skyway.
The woman, whose name hasn’t been released, was taken to Harborview Medical Center. She’s still alive with the life-threatening injury.
The 19-year-old suspect was named as Louis G. Parker III, also known as “Bart.”
Despite conflicting reports, hospital staff reported that the victim is not pregnant, said Sheriff’s Deputy Travis DeFries.
The shooting occurred in the 7900 block of South 125th Street in the family’s residence around 12:20 p.m.
A family member called 911 to report the shooting saying, “My baby’s been shot,” DeFries said.
Sheriff’s deputies are following several leads in search of the boyfriend who fled the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office identified him as Louis G. Parker III, 19. He is a black male, 5’11” and 170 lbs.
Though his residence is currently unknown, he’s known to hangout between Tacoma and Skyway.
