Natural yard care classes on Sept. 17

Two natural yard care classes — "Edibles in the Landscape" and "Mighty Arthropods for Kids" — are scheduled for Sept. 17 at Highlands Neighborhood Center.

Edibles in the Landscape

Is your garden shaded by buildings or mature trees? Not sure whether your space is suitable for edibles? The Garden Hotline’s Educator Laura Matter will share ideas for integrating edible plants into your landscape. Topics include proper site assessment, plant placement and plant care to help your edibles thrive.
