The City of Newcastle will celebrate Newcastle Days on Sept. 10 and 11.

A “downtown kickoff” event 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, will include merchant sidewalk sales, a band, and drawings for prizes. Other special events are planned.

On Saturday, Sept. 11, Valley Medical Center will sponsor the Newcastle Days festival at Lake Boren Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This annual celebration includes music, food, entertainment and fun.

Volunteers are arranging bands, musical performers, pony rides, face painting, bouncy houses, informational/educational booths and food vendors and more.
