All lanes of northbound I-5 just south of Southcenter are now open, after the vehicles involved in multi-vehicle collision at about 8:25 a.m. were moved to the side of the freeway, according to an advisory from the Washington state Department of Transportation.

The back had reached about 5 1/2 miles.

The Washington State Patrol and fire and aid crews, along with the transportation department’s incident response, responded to the accident.
