Curtiss Jay Ware, 53, of Renton died Jan. 9, 2010, in Seattle.

Mr. Ware was born on Friday, July 13, 1956, to Caleb Ware and Carolyn Jackson. He married Marilyn Sauls in Wichita, Kans.

He was a print-press operator.

Survivors include his sons Shawndale, Christopher, Marcus and Curtiss Jr. of Renton; his father Caleb Ware of Renton; his mother Carolyn Callahan of Wichita; brother Clayton Ware of Renton; sisters Carla Ware-Treet and Cheryl Welch of Renton and Connie Kelby and Crystal Dixon of Federal Way; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service was Jan. 16.
