Vernon Ray Robinson, 77, of Renton died Aug. 17, 2009.
He was born in Tacoma, Feb. 11, 1932, and lived in Renton for 41 years.
He was a Boeing engineer who loved climbing and biking. He was a former New Guinea missionary.
His survivors include his wife Jacqueline Robinson, son Roland Robinson and daughters Lucretia Shafer, Tina Damon and Melodie Fite.
He had 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
His memorial was held Aug. 24. at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Renton.
