Renton Public Works Department will close portions of North Third Street and Oakesdale Avenue Southwest to traffic this weekend in order for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad to repair railroad crossings.

On Friday, Feb. 24, Oakesdale Avenue Southwest between Southwest 34th Street and Southwest 41st Street will be closed to traffic.

On Sunday, Feb. 26, North Third Street between Houser Way North/Factory Avenue North and Sunset Boulevard North will be closed to traffic.

Detours on both projects will go up at 5 a.m. each day. Work is expected to last until approximately 6 p.m.

The work is not weather-dependent.
