Renton police responded to a burglary that took place at 8 a.m., Feb. 8 at SoundEnd Auto Wrecking on East Valley Road.

An employee saw a vehicle on the north of the business, and saw a male suspect climbing the north gate attempting to jump a razor wire hence. When the suspect saw that he had been spotted, he ran back into the business. The employee also noted that the gate was missing its pad lock and was pushed in, and that the suspect did not have permission to be on the property.

Officers found the suspect in the yard and arrested him for burglary.
