Police are searching for a suspect in a felony hit and run in Renton on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
At 11:38 a.m., Renton Police responded to a hit-and-run call near McLendon’s in Renton at the 400 block of Rainier Avenue South.
According to police, the 27-year-old victim of the hit-and-run was reportedly walking in the roadway when he was struck by the suspect vehicle. The man was conscious when first responders arrived on the scene, though not communicating. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Besides the possibility the suspect was driving a small green truck, there are no additional descriptions of the suspected driver.
Police are continuing to investigate and this story will be updated.
