Public Hearing of state marijuana regulations begin Aug. 6

The hearings are a required part of the rulemaking process and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to offer public testimony on the proposed rules for I-502.

The Washington State Liquor Control Board will hold four public hearings across Washington regarding the proposed rules for Initiative 502 implementation.

The hearings are a required part of the rulemaking process and provide an opportunity for stakeholders to offer public testimony on the proposed rules for I-502.

“Everything we’ve done regarding I-502 has drawn a crowd and we want to accommodate everyone. Having four hearings across the state allows us to do that,” said Board Chair Sharon Foster. “This is a chance for those who are impacted by, or anticipate being involved in, the business of marijuana to testify for the record about the proposed rules.”
