Put your best smile, bicep forward for The Bachelor, Bachelorette auditions in Renton

It might take some primping, styling and beefing up, but it could be worth it for some locals if they are selected for future seasons of the ABC television shows, "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."

It might take some primping, styling and beefing up, but it could be worth it for some locals if they are selected for future seasons of the ABC television shows, “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”

Interviewers for the shows are coming to The Landing in Renton from noon to 4 p.m. on June 9 for an open casting call.

Guys and gals are invited to come out to The Landing’s Community Room, 960 Park Ave. N., suite B, with their applications.

The Landing reached out to Fisher Broadcasting recently to land the opportunity. Fisher came back with opportunities for television and radio exposure, including the auditions.

Promotional staff for the shows’ producers visited the retail center to scout the property for the audition needs. For the auditions, the Community Room will be set up with four camera booths and a separate waiting area for applicants.

Potential “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants will check in at the front of the room and be given a number. For those that arrive early, the wait should be short. For all others that show up, the wait could take an hour or two.

“That’s OK with our location, because they can walk around, get something to eat or drink, shop, etc., while they wait,” said Sallye Soltner, marketing director of The Landing.

Soltner wasn’t sure how long each interview would take but thought it most likely depends on the individual. Applicants are required to bring the application already filled out, along with a photo to the audition.

The application is five pages long. The interviewing and filming will take place for only four hours. For an application visit any of the merchant stores or restaurants at The Landing or get one online at http://thebachelor.warnerbros.com/casting/.
