REMINDER: Council to hear KCLS presentation on library designs Monday

Councilmembers and the administration strongly hinted during this past week's meeting that they expected to see new plans that include use of the entire building's current footprint.

There will be a presentation to the city council of King County Library System’s latest schematic designs for the downtown library during Monday’s Committee of the Whole meeting.

Councilmembers and the administration strongly hinted during this past week’s meeting that they expected to see new plans that include use of the entire building’s current footprint.

Because of the presentation to the council and the proximity to the March 26 open house, there will be no public meeting on library designs this month.

The Committee of the Whole meets at 5:39 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The council will meet for its regular meeting at 7 p.m. To see the full agenda, visit www.rentonwa.gov.
