The Renton City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday to hear an update on the Rainier Avenue widening project.

The meeting is in council chambers, seventh floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way.

Following the special meeting, the council will go into an executive session to consider property acquisitions.
