The Renton Historical Society will host “Oktoberfest” Oct. 9 in downtown Renton.

The event is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with doors open at 5:30 p.m., at the Renton Senior Activity Center, 211 Burnett Ave. N.

The dinner and silent auction are in support of the Renton History Museum.
