The Renton Lion’s Club is raising money for a Renton Technical College culinary scholarship May 23.

The scholarship is named for South Seattle Community College culinary graduate Gayle Bertagni, who died unexpectedly when hit by a car. The fundraiser starts at 3 p.m. at The Swiss Pub, 1904 S. Jefferson Ave., Tacoma.
