Renton man injured in head-on collision on SR 169

A 19-year-old Renton man was injured Saturday night when his 1999 Subaru Impreza was hit head on by 2007 Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 169, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A 19-year-old Renton man was injured Saturday night when his 1999 Subaru Impreza was hit head on by 2007 Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 169, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Renton man was taken to Harborview Medical Center; his condition wasn’t immediately available.

The driver of the Silverado, a 41-year-old Snoqualmie man, was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault and booked into the King County Jail. The patrol indicated that drugs or alcohol were involved.

The Renton man was southbound on SR 169 and the Snoqualmie man was northbound at about 10:50 p.m. when his Chevrolet crossed the centerline and hit the Impreza, according to the state patrol.
