Piazza Renton held its ninth annual fundraiser Dinner and Auction at the Spirit of Washington Event Center in downtown Renton on Nov. 12 in partnership with the Renton Community Foundation.

Net proceeds from the event are being distributed evenly between the two charitable organizations.

As a result of the partnership, along with expanded community and business support, attendance was up more than 20 percent and revenue was up more than 25 percent from last year’s results.

The increased revenue allows both organizations to continue and grow their charitable related missions.

“It was a pure delight working with Lynn Bohart, executive director-Renton Community Foundation, in planning and putting on the event,” said Jim Medzegian, president of Piazza Renton.
