The Renton Salvation Army is holding its annual Need Knows No Season benefit on June 30.
The organization’s biggest annual fundraiser will begin with a catered reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Renton High School commons and continue at 7 p.m. with a movie at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center.
The reception is invitation only, but the movie is open to the public.
The movie, called “Where God Left his Shoes,” is a film by VULCAN Productions, directed by Salvatore Stabile and starring John Leguizamo. It tells the story of a family that becomes homeless and is forced to move into a shelter. The movie is free, but donations are recommended.
The IKEA Performing Arts Center is at 400 S. Second St.
To sponsor a table at the fundraiser or to make donations, call the Salvation Army at 425-255-5969.
