The Renton Senior Activity Center and American Legion Fred Hancock Post No. 19  on Nov. 11 will dedicate a new veterans memorial located behind the center.

The memorial is dedicated to those who lost their lives while serving at sea.

American Legion Commander Rod Haynes will commit a memorial wreath to the waters and Councilman Ed Prince will speak during the ceremony.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center, 211 Burnett Avenue North.
