A 20-year-old  Renton woman was arrested Wednesday night in the shooting of a Federal Way man, who Renton Police say have a history of domestic  violence.

The  shooting occurred at about 7:50 p.m. in the 4400 block of Northeast 12th Street. Officers found the 28-year-old Federal Way man conscious and bleeding from with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.  He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

The suspect was arrested for felony investigation of assault. There is a court-ordered protection order between the two parties, and a history of domestic violence incidents, according to the Renton Police Department.
