A Renton woman died in Bellingham early this morning, after being struck by a car last night, according to a Washington State Patrol report.

Thirty-year-old Amanda A. Gion was trying to cross the street at 7:48 p.m. when she was hit and taken to St. Joseph Hospital.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle weren’t injured. There were no drugs or alcohol involved, according to the report.
