The annual Reuse It! Renton Swap to drop-off reusable, unwanted items for free is Saturday at the Renton Memorial Stadium south parking lot, 405 Logan Ave. N.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; items will not be the collected after 1:30 p.m.
This is not a swap meet, but a way for the City of Renton to facilitate the exchange of usable items. Participants dropping items off do not have to stay until the end of the event.
Items are intended for free reuse and not for resale or personal profit. Take only what you or your non-profit need. Unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of the event.
Items accepted:
All items must be in good working order. Staff have the right to refuse any item.Household items (no textiles or refrigerators); gardening and landscaping tools; furniture; consumer electronics; barbecues; vanities, doors, and other building materials in good working condition; sporting and exercise equipment; hobby supplies; toys, books and games; artwork; almost anything that is in good condition and can be given away.
