The 25th Anniversary Duck Hunt to celebrate the 25th year of the IKEA Renton River Days kicks off Friday.

The organizers of the duck hunt, led by Mike Selinker of Renton, have been distributing the ducks to local businesses, public buildings and other locales throughout Renton.

Each duckling “host” will decorate the duckling in a style befitting the business or organization.

The idea is to use clues to find each of the ducklings and get “bingo card” stamped when you find one of momma Diana’s 25 ducklings.

Then you can turn in the card at IKEA Renton River Days July 23-25 for a chance to win a prize, based on the number of ducklings you found.

The Renton Reporter will serialize the clues beginning Friday at rentonreporter.com, with a new clue posted each day. The clues are also posted on the River Days Facebook page. Clues are available as Twitter feeds using the account @rentonriverdays.
