Seahawks to recognize breast cancer awareness month

The Seattle Seahawks will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month this Sunday, during the Seahawks game vs. the Cowboys at CenturyLink Field to promote the League’s month-long A Crucial Catch campaign.

The Seattle Seahawks will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month this Sunday, during the Seahawks game vs. the Cowboys at CenturyLink Field to promote the League’s month-long A Crucial Catch campaign. The campaign is focused on the importance of annual screenings, especially for women who are 40-and-older. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. Touchdown City and all gates open at 10 a.m.

The Sea Gals will use neon pink poms, wear neon pink boots and honor local survivors during a halftime celebration featuring more than 275 local high school dance teams from eight area schools, including: Eastlake, Hazen, Kamiak, Kentridge, Kentwood, Thomas Jefferson, Tumwater, and Union.
