King County Sheriff Deputies are looking for a wanted felon near Renton.

Deputies attempted to arrest 36-year-old Jeremy Alan Maddelena in the area of SE 136 St. and 171st Ave. Maddelena fled the scene in a stolen car before he could be arrested.

Just after 10 a.m. a caller reported seeing a car crash into some rocks on his property in the area of SE 121st St. and 171st Ave SE. The caller saw two people get out of the car and flee the area.

Deputies quickly responded to the area in an attempt to box-in the two, after they realized it was Maddalena and an as of yet unidentified female. K-9 units were called in to assist in the search.

A vehicle was stopped as it was leaving the area because deputies thought Maddalena was a passenger but it turns out he was not. As it turns out, the stopped car was also stolen and those people were taken into custody.

The public is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206)296-3311 with information about Maddelena’s whereabouts, but advised not to make contact with him.
