Second shooting in Skyway this month, suspect on loose

A 27-year old Seattle man was shot several times in Skyway Saturday at a convenience store, according to a King County Sheriff’s Office Report.

The victim was standing outside the store, a 7-11 at 12848 Martin Luther King Way, when the suspect approached him. Words were exchanged before the suspect pulled out a pistol and fired numerous rounds at about 1:20 a.m., according to the report.

The suspect has yet to be apprehended.

The victim was taken to Harborview Hospital in critical condition.

This is the second shooting in Skyway this month, after a 19-year-old woman was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend Aug. 6. (Read about it here.)
