It looked a bit questionable for a while there Friday, but it should turn out to be a pretty nice weekend.

The National Weather Service is predicting mostly sunny skies today with highs around 77 and light winds. Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop into the mid 50s with skies staying partly cloudy.

Sunday should bring another mostly sunny day, with a high near 78 and light winds. Clouds will begin to move in during the evening and there is a 30 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m. Sunday night with an overnight low in the mid-50s.

The work week brings us more clouds and a 40 percent chance of showers with highs around 70, dropping into the 50s overnight.

The pattern is expected to stick around for most of the week.
