Sound Transit trains, buses will run reduced holiday schedule for New Year’s

Riders should be aware of service reductions and special train and bus schedules for the New Year’s holidays:

Riders should be aware of service reductions and special train and bus schedules for the New Year’s holidays:

New Year’s Eve service

  • Sounder service will operate on a weekday schedule.
  • ST Express buses will operate on a weekday schedule.

Link will run on a weekday schedule. The last passenger train northbound will leave Sea-Tac Airport at 12:10 a.m. The last train southbound leaves Westlake at 1:13 a.m.

  • Tacoma Link will operate extended service. The last southbound train will leave the Theater District Station at 12:48 a.m.

New Year’s Day service

  • No Sounder commuter rail service.
  • ST Express bus routes 510, 511, 513, 532, 535, 540, 542, 555, 556, 566, 567, 580, 586, 595 and 596 will not operate.
  • ST Express routes 512, 522, 550, 577 and 578 operate on Sunday schedules.
  • ST Express routes 545, 554, 560, 574, 5909, 592 and 594 will operate on weekend schedules.
  • Link light rail and Tacoma Link will run on Sunday schedules.
