A serious collision at about 4 p.m. Friday was blocking all lanes of northbound State Route 167 at South 180th Street in Renton, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation.

All lanes were open again at about 4:50 p.m., along with the southbound HOT lane.

Traffic was being detoured off the road at the 180th Street exit. The backup was three miles and drivers were encouraged to use alternate routes.

The Washington State Patrol and the transportation department’s incident response team responded.
