Twelve Renton schools participated in the annual art show Reflections this year with hundreds of entries themed around the phrase “Beauty Is…”

The Parent Teacher Student Association considered about 200 entries, giving 50 awards and recognition.

The 50 winning pieces were on display at the IKEA Performing Arts Center Jan. 7.

Hazen senior Andrew Welker titled this photo “Childhood is Beautiful.” He won an award for outstanding interpretation and will move onto the state competition.
