Sustainable Renton held its very first 5K run, walk and roll on Saturday, July 8, complete with food donations for the non-profit’s free grocery store and a superhero theme.
The 5K took place at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Renton, where Sustainable Renton has its weekly free grocery store where donations from local grocery stores, farmer’s markets, local gardens, and other organizations are given out to over 1,000 people every Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
