A 17-year-old Renton boy was stabbed on Nov. 18.

Police found the victim sitting on the curb outside of a convenience store in the 17600 block of 108th Avenue Southeast in Renton.

He had a stab wound to his left cheek and blood was streaming down his left arm and neck. His jacket was also soaked with blood.

When officers asked him who stabbed him, the boy replied, “The devil.”

He was completely uncooperative and would not give any details regarding the incident or who stabbed him.

Police asked a pan-handler if he witnessed anything and he said that the boy approached him from the east and was already bleeding.

Renton Fire transported the boy to Valley Medical Center for treatment.

While checking the area, police were contacted by an anonymous person who claimed there was a fight on Southeast Carr Road.

The victim who was getting assaulted ran east and entered a silver car, the person said.

That car was parked in front of the officers and they went to investigate.

They found a passenger inside who appeared to have been in a fight. Officers were unsure if the incident was in retaliation for the previous fight.

Police contacted the victim in the hospital, but he was still unwilling to give a positive identification.

 

Wig-stealing thief attacks worker

A wig-stealing woman attacked a beauty store worker on Nov. 19.

The woman came into the Park Ave Beauty Supply store, 314 Park Ave. N., around 1 p.m. and placed a wig in her jacket.

When a store worker requested the merchandise back, the woman refused and began pushing and hitting the man.

This caused the 50-year-old man abrasions and scratches on his face.

A witness tried to help the store employee. They were able to get the wig back from the suspect, but she fled on foot, headed west on North Fourth Street.

The suspect is described as a black female, 23-24 years old, approximately 5-foot-3-inches tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds. She was wearing a black puffy jacket over a red hooded sweatshirt, jeans and tennis shoes. She also had her hair in braids.

The 50-year-old man was treated at the scene for his minor injuries.

 

Two men hurt in brawl at house

Two men are treated and released from the hospital after a brawl broke out at a house party on Nov. 19.

Police talked with about 16 people at a residence in 5300 block of Northeast Second Street where the incident occurred about 11 p.m.

When police arrived nearly 35 people exited the house and were ordered to sit down on the sidewalk, while officers sorted out what happened.

A sweep of the house revealed blood splatter on walls and the carpet. There was a broken vase on the ground with shards of glass.

Two men had head lacerations.

The fight with multiple people erupted apparently after a verbal argument and someone trying to shake someone else’s hand.

Both groups of people involved blamed the other and police were not able to determine who threw the first punch.

The two men who were transported to Valley Medical Center, were given stitches and their injuries were not life-threatening.

 

Wife pushes husband from residence

Police witnessed a domestic violence dispute on Nov. 21.

When police arrived at a residence in the 400 block of Taylor Avenue Northwest, they observed a 31-year-old male being pushed out of the residence by his wife. The incident took  place at 1:17 a.m.

The man had a large kitchen knife in one of his hands that he quickly threw in the bushes upon seeing police.

When questioned he explained he had been in an argument with his wife over infidelity issues and asked to take the knife from her because she was using it in the kitchen.

At some point the argument turned physical and the 36-year-old woman scratched, slapped and pushed her husband.

Police arrested the woman for investigation of fourth degree assault.
