A collision is blocking the two left lanes of southbound State Route 167 near South 180th Street in Renton, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation.

The backup extends to the I-405 interchange and vehicles are experiencing delays on both north and southbound I-405 near the interchange.

The accident occurred at about 2:40 p.m.
