Multiple gunshots were fired in downtown Renton near Safeway at about 8 p.m. Friday that sent two people to Harborview Medical Center.
The shooting does not appear to be random, according to the Renton Police Department, which is asking for the public’s help to investigate the shooting.
The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.
Police received reports of multiple shots fired just after 8 p.m. in the 200 block of South Third Street.
A 17-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds; they were transported to Harborview Hospital.
Possible suspects were described as three young African-American males who fled before police arrived.
