The King County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents’ help in locating an 81-year-old Renton man who has gone missing.

Roy Thompson was last seen in the West Seattle Area Friday morning and has been away from his home in Renton since Thursday afternoon.

Thompson is six-feet tall, 155 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing tan clothing.

Thompson drives a gray 2006 Toyota Avalon with Washington license plate AJY 8994.

Thompson has serious medical issues that need to be addressed. Since he left home, he is known to have been as far as Stanwood and was in Burien, prior to that.

In the past he has lived in Kent.

According to Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Cindi West, he last used his credit card at a 7-11 in West Seattle on Friday moring and then used it again in at a Shell station in the 600 block of Elliot Avenue West around noon.
