Vision House is running its annual toy drive until Dec. 24 at noon to help make Christmas bright for homeless families.

Although it’s too late to order a giving tree, participants can send gift cards or gifts to P.0. Box 2951, Renton 98056.

Giving money or gift cards is preferred, because it allows mothers to experience buying their children gifts, said spokesperson Mary Burton.

“It empowers that mother to buy things they (kids) really need,” she said.

Vision House provides transitional housing to homeless children and their mothers, helping them achieve self sufficiency. For more information visit NoHomelessKids.org.
