WSDOT to close northbound I-405 lane and ramps in Tukwila tonight for maintenance work

Up to two right lanes of northbound I-405 from I-5 to SR 181/West Valley Highway will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge deck repair work.

Drivers who use northbound Interstate 5 in the Southcenter area should prepare for ramp closures, detours and possible delays tonight, Aug. 25, through tomorrow morning, Aug. 26.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close several lanes and ramps on northbound I-405 between I-5 and State Route 181/West Valley Highway for bridge deck repair work.

Closure details:

Up to two right lanes of northbound I-405 from I-5 to SR 181/West Valley Highway will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge deck repair work.

The HOV lane will be open to all traffic.

The Tukwila Parkway on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge deck repair work. A signed detour will be in place.

The northbound I-405 off-ramp to SR 181/West Valley Highway will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge deck repair work. A signed detour will be in place.
