Renton residents have the opportunity this holiday season to help families living in King and Snohomish counties through the YWCA’s Adopt-a-Family program.

The program helps alleviate the pressure parents feel to create a festive atmosphere while struggling to meet basic needs.

Gifts and gift cards can be purchased and donated to families in need through the program.

The Adopt-a-Family program focuses on children, but grocery cards are welcome for the whole family.

The South King County drop-off location is at 1010 S. Second St. in Renton.

For more information on the program visit, www.ywcaworks.org.

Donations will be accepted Dec. 15 and Dec. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 17 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
