Big Al Swanson passed away December 30, 2016, at age 79. Al graduated from Kent-Meridian High School in 1956.

Owner and Dealer of Al’s Chevron on Benson Road until retiring, he was a loving husband, father, and a friend to the community. Al always had a project going on, whether it was working on the house with his wife Connie, or his 1950 Chevrolet, or researching old cars online. Al enjoyed working with his son Will on an old pickup, visits with his daughter Katie DePuma and family, as well as visits with his son Jay Krohn and family.

Al is survived by Connie, Will, Katie and Jay, as well as many grandchildren.
