Ann Erhart passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 16, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
Ann was born in St. Benedict, North Dakota, on January 30, 1940 to Frank and Kathryn Heier. She grew up and attended school in Richardton, North Dakota until she married and moved to Florida where her husband was stationed in the air force. Her son, Alan, was born there. The family then moved to the Seattle area, where her son, Keith, was born. Around 1971, they moved into a house in Renton where Ann spent the rest of her years. Ann retired from Valley Medical Center where she worked in Central Supply, but decided to go back to work and finished out her working years at Ikea. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Ann also spent many happy hours going on car trips and motorcycle rides with her longtime partner, Ron Bjorklund. When they weren’t traveling around the area, they could usually be found enjoying coffee and conversation at a local coffee shop.
Ann is survived by her partner of 33 years, Ron Bjorklund; her sons, Alan (Kerstin) and Keith (Laura); three granddaughters, Stephanie, Danielle, and Mackenzie; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie and Cecelia. Ann’s family wishes to give their sincere thanks to Kline Galland Hospice and Ann’s private caregivers who provided wonderful care to Ann and her family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Kline Galland Community Based Services.
