Arline E. McCready, lifelong resident of Renton, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Arline was born in Renton on March 27, 1937 to Art and Florence (Stewart) Taini. She graduated from Renton High School in 1955 and married the love of her life, Donald G. McCready on November 17, 1956 and raised three daughters, Cathy, Lisa and Lynn.

Arline worked for Weisfield’s Jewelers, the Renton School District, (where she could keep an eye on her kids) and was a valued employee for the city of Tukwila. She had a passion for theater and Classic musicals, dancing and traveling.

Arline was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Florence, husband Don, daughter Lynn, stepfather Cliff Anderson, and grandson Jack Gregg. She is survived by her daughters Cathy Hilde (Steve) and Lisa Schluneger (Peter) and her 7 grandchildren; Kate Hagen and Rebekah Gregg, Michael and Allie Hilde, Roxanne, Cassy and Anna Schluneger.

Service will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Vine Maple Place, PO Box 1092, Maple Valley, Wa 98038.
