Arthur (Art) John Melot joined the Lord on October 14, 2021 at the age of eighty-six. He was born in Seattle, Washington on April 19, 2021 to Peter L Melot and Margaret L Melot. He weighed 2 lbs. at birth and was Developmentally Delayed.

Art lived a full life cherishing his relationship with the Lord and time with family. He faithfully attended Renton Gospel Chapel weekly for 45+ years and Renton Senior Center. Vacations usually consisted of traveling with his mother to visit one of his eleven nieces or nephews. Owning a Cadillac convertible, he loved giving rides with the top-down cruising the neighborhood. Working as a custodian for over 25 years at Cello Bag Plastics he received an award for Disabled Person of the Year. Art is preceded in death by his sister Lillian Lee, brother Walter Melot, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on November 14th at 2:00 PM at Renton Bible Church, 973 Union Ave NE Renton, WA 98059
