Candis E. Talley

Age 83, passed away July 30, 2022

Candis E. Talley was born on April 5, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to Alfred J. Shropshire Sr. and Angie L. Bosworth. Alfred and Angie took their growing family and moved to the pacific northwest. The Shropshire’s finally settled in Renton WA where she attended Highlands Elementary, Renton Jr HS, and Renton HS.

It was in Renton that Candis met the love of her life, Private First Class Albert Talley. Candis’ time as a military wife and mom took her to bases both in the US and abroad from Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX to Ft. Riley, KS, and finally Friedberg, Germany. With their military adventures behind them Candis and her family returned to Renton where she attended Renton Vocational Technical Institute and soon after began a career at Tally Corporation.

Candis loved life, she loved her family, and her family loved her back just as much. Proceeding her in death her beloved husband, Albert Talley Sr. and siblings; Alfred J. Shropshire Jr, William (Bill) Shropshire and Angeline (Shropshire) Wright. She is survived by her four children Debra, Albert Jr. (Buddy), Michael, Susan (Tootie); her siblings Juanita Jenkins, Patricia (Shropshire) Pattenaude, and Pamela Farrior; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
